Physical and chemical properties: scientific name: 2-isopropylphenyl methyl carbamate. A pesticide that has both contact killing and systemic effects. The pure product is a white crystal. Melting point 96~97 ℃. Boiling point 128~129 ℃ (2.666 kPa, 20 mmHg). Insoluble in water, easily soluble in ethanol, acetone, and ethyl acetate. Quick acting, but with a short duration of efficacy.
Usage: Used for controlling pests such as rice planthoppers and rice leafhoppers on rice, certain fruit trees, and crops. It can also be used to treat thrips, locusts, and barn flies
